आश्विन शुक्ल पूर्णिमा ( शरदपूर्णिमा )

आश्विन शुक्ल पूर्णिमा यह उत्सव रात्रि में किया जाता है। जिस दिन सम्पूर्ण रात्रि में पूर्णिमा हो,.वह दिन लेना चाहिए । शरद् ऋतु में आकाश निर्मल हो जाता है व सर्वत्र शीतलमन्द सुगन्ध हवा बहने लगती है । शरदपूर्णिमा की रात्रि में चन्द्रमा निर्मल और परिपूर्ण रहता है व चन्द्रमा की चाँदनी में अमृत का निवास रहता है, इसलिए उसकी किरणों से अमृतत्व और आरोग्य की प्राप्ति सुलभ होती है। इस पूर्णिमा को शरत्पुर्णिमा भी कहते हैं । इस दिन प्रातःकाल अपने आराध्यदेव को सुन्दर वस्त्राभूषण से सुशोभित करके यथाविधि षोडशोपचार पूजन करना चाहिए। अर्धरात्रि के समय भगवान को गाय के दूध से बनी खीर में घी तथा चीनी मिलकर पुरियों की रसोई सहित भगवान् को भोग लगाना चाहिए । खीर से भरे पात्र को रात को खुली चाँदनी में रखें, इसने रात्रि के सभय चन्द्रकिरणों के द्वारा अमृत गिरता है । प्रातः काल उस का सबको प्रसाद दे और स्वयं खाना चाहिए। पूर्णिमा का व्रत करके, कहानी सुनकर चन्द्रमा को जल से अर्घ देना चाहिए। विवाह होने बाद पूर्णमासी के व्रत का नियम शरदपूर्णिमा से ही लेना चाहिए। कार्तिक का व्रत भी शरदपूर्णिमा से आरम्भ करना चाहिए। इस दिन कोजागर पूजा भी की जाती हैं । तेरह पूर्णिमा का व्रत करने के बाद उद्यापन किया जाता है। इसे रास पूर्णिमा भी कहते है, ब्रज में यह त्योहार बहुत उत्साहपूर्वक मनाया जाता है। इस दिन श्री सत्यनारायण भगवान
